Geoservices (PNG) Ltd, certified by the PNG Investment Promotion Authority (Certificate No: 1-67330), specializes in providing technical and regulatory services within the Mining and Petroleum sectors of Papua New Guinea. With a history dating back to the mid 2000s, the company and its adept technical team have achieved numerous successful geophysical endeavors in the upstream oil & gas domain. Collaborations include prominent names like Fugro, Searcher Seismic, CGG, Talisman, and InterOil, with contributions spanning 2D and 3D reflection seismic projects in the onshore and offshore areas of PNG.

Moreover, the group team members have played pivotal roles in successfully delivering oil & gas drilling projects around the country for industry leaders such as InterOil, Total, Talisman, Oil Search Ltd, and ExxonMobil's PNG LNG development drilling. Boasting a collective experience exceeding 50 years in the PNG's resource exploration and development landscape, the technical team possesses profound expertise. Services

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY

We provide services in; -Seismic onshore and offshore survey planning and field work including survey parameters, field scouting, field camp setup, manpower selection and mobilization, management of the seismic project through to actual survey and demobilization. -Ground gravity, EM and IP surveys for oil, gas, mineral and water exploration.

EARLY DESKTOP WORK

Services here includes; -Field Scouting for client project sites through to development of appropriate work plan and design for the GG survey or drilling of a well. -Evaluation of a project site legacy data to find solutions to optimize a project and add value through reductions of costs and mitigating associated risks

REGULATORY

We provide techno-policy and regulatory guidance work for clients in both Mining and Petroleum sectors. This includes application for various permits and licenses for initial ground exploration work through to development.
